The 15th ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM BCB) is the flagship conference of the ACM SIGBio. ACM-BCB 2024 is the conference's fifteenth year, building upon the success of the first fourteen meetings in Boston, Niagara Falls, Chicago, Orlando, Washington DC, Newport Beach, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, online (due to COVID-19), Chicago and Houston. The ACM-BCB 2024 conference will be held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, PR China, Nov. 22-25, 2024.

The ACM-BCB is a premier dissemination forum for interdisciplinary research linking computer science, mathematics, statistics, biology, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, and health informatics. The past few decades have seen tremendous growth in the scale and complexity of biological and medical data including recent mainstream recognition of big data challenges. The 2024 ACM-BCB conference is dedicated to promoting AI for Bio-medicine (AI4Bio), including cutting-edge AI advances in computational biology, bioinformatics, and health informatics, at the intersection of computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, biology, and medicine. ACM-BCB 2024 serves to showcase leading-edge research on new technologies and techniques around gathering, processing, analyzing, and modeling of data and information for a variety of scientific, clinical, and healthcare applications, from bench to bedside.

Announcements

[Rising Star Award]  The Rising Star Award is open to young scholars in the final year of their doctoral studies or those who have recently completed their Ph.D within the last year. This award also extends an invitation to individuals who have not submitted a paper to the conference, encouraging their active participation. For all eligible candidates, please kindly send your registration name, phone number, English resume, and doctoral thesis to the email: jt.meng@siat.ac.cn for applying the Rising Star Award.

[Travel Program] A tour of Shenzhen will be taken in the afternoon of November 25 to experience China's culture. The attractions include Huaqiang North Road Commercial District and Gankeng Ke Little Town. It will cost $50-$65 per person. Please click on the Travel program for tour itinerary and payment methods.
    If you would like to participate in the tour, please email us your name and passport number/ID number at BCB24@siat.ac.cn for reservation. A minimum of 10 people is required for this tour, and the payment will be collected by the Shenzhen Ctrip International Travel Service Co., Ltd at the conference registration site between 14:00-17:00pm on Nov 23rd. The travel insurance is covered by Shenzhen Ctrip International Travel Service Co., Ltd.

[Paper Submission Delay] In response to a large number of requests and to accommodate the needs of our contributors, we have decided to extend the deadline for paper submissions to July 15th, 2024 (AOE: Anywhere on earth).
